The WAX Community is growing and WAX Nation in cooperation with .gems has been focusing on building out their NFT products and growing the WAX community as a whole.
The .gems Discovery stream on Twitch is highlighting the most recent and upcoming WAX NFT projects on a regular basis. Because streams on Twitch are only available for 2 weeks, we port previous episodes of the .gems Discovery stream to Youtube for our community to rewatch.
Since the beginning of February, the content of these streams has also been translated to Chinese and published in written form to EOS Nation’s official WeChat Channel.

VRGB
The VR Graffiti Battles held the 2nd Season of the KingSpray VR tournaments and broadcasted the event live on Twitch.
Congratulations to Desoler for defeating his crown once again as the VRGB Champion and a shoutout to Crysis for coming in on the 2nd place as a VRGB newcomer. Both artists were competing for an impressive 6 hours battle of live VR Graffiti in the final round, showing their mastership and skills.
While onboarding VR Graffiti Artists to the world of NFTs and Blockchain is still the main focus of this event, the VRGB team is getting a lot of positive feedback from the large KingSpray Community. To increase participation we offered a prize pool of $500 USD in WAXP tokens for the artists that made it to the final rounds.

The next VRGB tournament is planned for May 2022.
But before moving to the next round, we are excited to present the artworks produced during these events in an upcoming VRGB Pack sale, scheduled for the beginning of March 2022.
Sk8coin Metazine
Another project that aims to bring urban culture to the metaverse is the Sk8coin metazine.
Issue #1 was published on February 23rd on Neftyblocks and features skateboarding NFT collectibles and reviews for popular blockchain games on WAX.
While the content is available for everyone to read as a flipbook on the Sk8coin website, only the owners of the WAX-based Metazine Cover NFT are whitelisted to claim the NFTs embedded via links in every article.
In that sense, Sk8coin introduces a whole new concept of a pack sale, while at the same time giving exposure to NFT artists and games.

Buying NFTs with FIAT via Shopify
We’re happy to share with the community that we’ve successfully tested NFT sales via credit card and other payment providers (Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.).
While our testing was done with our Pomelo NFT collection on EOS, we are planning to offer this service for future NFT sales on WAX as well.
We believe that through this service we can onboard more NFT collectors to the WAX ecosystem.
Provinz Digital
After presenting WAX NFTs on the Art Cologne, the NFT fine art project provinz.digital in cooperation with .gems is currently onboarding more traditional artists to the ecosystem via workshops and is planning to launch a dedicated marketplace later this year.
As the next release, the team is planning a curated drop that features an international selection of artists that work with the medium of photography
