This month, the EOS Nation team has been busy working on many different aspects of the WAX ecosystem from technical aspects of the network, to social media content production and new NFT integrations.
Responding to feedback shared by fellow block producers, our CIO Matthew Darwin improved the BP Validator tool in order to provide more explicit error messages. The validator tool, along with these improved error messages, helps all block producers monitor various aspects of their various nodes and helps ensure greater consistency and stability on the network.
Another helpful tool we released is the ability to lookup recently failed transactions. For best results, provide an account name or transaction id. If a failed transaction reaches Nation, you will see it here. It may be listed multiple times if there are different types of failures and for each server where it is seen. Happy debugging!
In terms of social media content, the weekly .gems WAX Discovery Stream is now published in 3 different languages. While we publish the .gems WAX Discovery stream in English on Twitch and YouTube, our EOS Nation Asia team also publishes written versions of this content in Chinese on Weixin and now in Korean on Naver.
Speaking of WAX content, the Sk8coin Metazine Issue #2 is coming up at the end of April and will be featuring artists from the NFTY Sk8boards brand and brining over their audience from ETH & Polygon to WAX. We are also in preliminary talks with another stakeboarding cryptoverse project, that is not currently on WAX, about potential collaborations. We want Sk8coin to be the premier crypto destination for the entire skateboarding industry and these cross-chain collaborations are currently our focus.
And finally, we’ve completed our WAX Cloud Wallet & Shopify integration which will allow our collectors to purchase NFTs directly from well-known payment processors such as: credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
