EOS Hot Sauce is a weekly digest of all the hottest topics from around the EOSIO ecosystem. The space is evolving so rapidly it can be hard to keep up! We keep on top of it so you don’t have to.

The EOS Community is Buzzing

Make room for the EOS Bees, the newly formed marketing group to incentivize outreach work.

Initiated by EOS community member and digital marketer Jesse Jaffe, the EOS Bees are organized via a fractal governance structure where each Worker Bee is independent. Worker Bees are trusted EOS community members who recruit new members as Scout Bees into their independent “swarm”.

The main mission of the EOS Bees is to promote EOS beyond community borders and engage FUD and correct misconceptions in a non-aggressive manner.

EOS Bees follow the Bee Code to set a culture of respect and non-violence.

The fractal structure of the EOS Bees allows them to launch targeted campaigns that cater to the specific needs of  a local community and go into details in the process of onboarding new users.

The vision for Plan Bee is presented in a detailed proposal and visually presented in a nicely designed infographic, so check these out to learn more.

To sustain their efforts the EOS Bees plan to seek funding in the next Eden Election and on the Pomelo platform.

Visit the buzzing EOS Bees Telegram channel to learn more.

The recent boost in activity in the EOS Community comes on the heels of news of new funding mechanisms that are in the pipeline.Everyone is looking forward to seeing what the new EOS Foundation funds first. And this week marked some important milestones towards that goal, which were shared in detail in the most recent EOS Foundation update from Yves La Rose

Yves La Rose - EOS Foundation
  1. ✅  A name and a domain for the Foundation has been secured.
  2. ✅  Scope planning has begun for branding, website design, and external marketing.
  3. ✅  Five interviews for full-time positions with Core have been conducted.
  4. ✅  Still interviewing candidates for 7th advisory board position.
  5. ✅  Initial grantees with proven track records are being researched in preparation for presentation to the advisory board.

Eden is making progress towards its first official election, too.

Not just a trial. This time it’s the real deal.

For this matter, the community discussed options to manage funding in a legally compliant way. A summary of that discussion was posted on Reddit

Speaking about summaries, given the high frequency of messages in the Eden Chats, we highly recommend the Eden Recap Channel to stay in the loop.

Dan Larimer also continues to engage with the community while pushing the development of Eden and Clarion. Recently he shared insights into his time at Block.one, VOICE, Eden and also the brand new EOS Foundation in an in-depth interview.

EOSTARTER and the Tartiers

EOSTARTER is yet another opportunity for EOS builders to get initial funding.

The platform recently reached its first milestone of 20 project submissions, meaning that it will be go time soon. Exciting!

EOSTARTER expands on the concept of a launchpad with additional features such as:

  • 360 Advisory Services – From inception to production, the EOSTARTER team will offer guidance to projects

  • Cross-chain Liquidity pools & DeFi Services for projects and investors

  • Gamification and Play-to-earn mechanics for the $TART Tokens and larger presale allocations

  • Powerup NFT Farms

Yes, this community-powered incubator comes with a tasty NFT twist.

The Tartiers are NFT characters in different flavours, rarities, and editions. Each of them has superpowers, giving the holder power ups, exclusive access, and potential bonuses on the platform as an extra utility.

Check out a recent interview the EOSTARTER team had on the Cryptowriter YouTube channel. And if you’re looking for a way to fund a project, make sure to hand in a submission.

Emanate 2.0 Goes Multi-Chain!

Emanate 2.0 is coming and the team shared some recent achievements and upcoming features. The music streaming platform now counts over 10,000 users, of which 2000 are artists. And through the deployment of an EVM bridge, Emanate 2.0 will reach even more music lovers. The long-awaited Emanate mobile app has also been released and will be the subject of promotions planned for the coming weeks.

The Emanate team has also been involved in the creation of the MODA DAO, a novel body in the music industry focused on facilitating the adoption of Web3 tech. Good news for loyal EMT token holders, a share of MODA DAO tokens will be allocated to them. Stay tuned as the team will reveal further details soon.

Ultra Update

Ultra has been listed on the Bithumb exchange, Kucoin started support of the Ultra mainnet, and the UOS token swap is live. Things are going pretty well for Ultra as the excitement for the launch of the gaming platform later this year is ramping up.

The team also started a new series on YouTube called Ultra Chill and the invited guests are a testament to Ultra’s high-quality connections in the industry.

We saw Jörg Roskowetz, Director of Blockchain at AMD in the 2nd episode, and the next guest will be Edward Moalem, former staff at Google and Apple Games, now Chief Strategy Officer at Ultra.

And there’s no doubt that NFTs will play a pretty big role on Ultra.

Besides the game licenses themselves being NFTs, in-game assets could be minted as NFTs, tournament prizes and trophies could come as NFTs, rare NFTs could be used to incentivize players to make specific game purchases, and so on. The possibilities are almost limitless.

Read about them yourself in a recent blog post on the Ultra Community Channel that gives a good overview of the potential of NFTs on Ultra.

Ultra is well-positioned to be a game-changer, and EOS Nation happy to participate in the ecosystem as a Block Producer.

Chintai at Bazinga

Chintai’s CEO David Packham was invited to the Bezinga Crypto Festival to speak on a panel about the tokenization of traditional assets, a topic right up Chintai’s alley.

David shared that Chintai is currently working on solutions for a carbon credits market with a volume of 300M USD. And that’s just one of the institutional partners currently testing the platform in the ongoing private beta. Chintai is also working with firms from the real estate sector, bringing liquidity to a traditionally illiquid asset class.

Using Chintai products will be a no-brainer for traditional finance companies, as it reduces administrative overhead by 50-70% in middle and back offices.

We’re very excited about what Chintai is bringing to the ecosystem.

Uplift.Art Help for Haiti

We want to give a shout-out to mBlu Crypto, a dear community member, who has brought plenty of great projects, inspiration and content to the EOSIO Ecosystem.

He recently published a YouTube Video introducing Sovereign Self, a beautiful NFT that serves a special mission. All profits from the sale are going to support a region in Haiti that has been struck once again by an earthquake.

The Sovereign Self NFT Drop is still live, costs $3 USD, and features a song composed and performed by Mr. mBlu Crypto himself.

VRGB and Cryptowriter Join the PAGE DAO

We’re excited to share that the VR Graffiti Battles were chosen to receive a $PAGE grant by WIP Publishing and invited to join the PAGE DAO, along with other familiar names such as The Cryptowriter, Cipher.media, LADz City, and the Tokensmart Community.

WIP Publishing is on a mission to bring writers and books onto the Blockchain via NFT Technology. After having released a couple of NFT books already, the team is currently working on the NFT Book Bazaar

In the meanwhile, they also host some fun activities on their Discord server, such as the weekly Pass the Pen event, which anyone can join to write a wild Sci-Fi story in a decentralized fashion.

As you can see, WIP Publishing is all about creative writing.

However, based on the selection of partners for the PAGE DAO, we can tell there’s a much wider angle.

Many of the participating projects are developing NFT solutions for their respective fields, making the PAGE DAO an offering for all the disciplines of creativity.

The VRGB team is very happy to be part of such a diverse group and proud to represent the WAX ecosystem to the wider crypto space in a collaborative spirit.

Stay tuned for the upcoming VRGB activities, as you might be able to earn some PAGE tokens.

WAX Breaks Records

With so many new accounts and users, it’s becoming more and more important to stand out with your account if you want to be recognized among artists and collectors.

We highly recommend checking out the WAX Name Service, where you can score some pretty awesome premium account names such as: NFT.BULL, WAX.LORD, ART.ARMY and many many more that are still available.

Make your NFT collection stand out! Don’t get lost in the sea of .wam account names!

Last but not least we want to congratulate the WAX blockchain for crossing 6 Million accounts created milestone!

This just 2 days after the WAXP token was listed on Binance, Gate.io, and AOFEX.

On top of that, the WAX blockchain set a new record of 550,000 active users transacting in a single day, making it the most used Layer-1 Blockchain in the World!
